Spring 2007 Message

After three months as the new Commissioner for ANC2C02, I’ve been busy trying to meet and work with as many of my constituents as possible. Helping neighbors resolve their problems, such as issues regarding crime and safety, street trash and ridding our neighborhood of rats, have been challenging yet rewarding.

On your behalf, I have been meeting personally with government officials who serve our community like, Joseph Martin, Mayor Fenty’s Ward 2 Neighborhood Services Coordinator, and the Mayor’s Ward 2 Community Outreach Coordinator, Sean Howard. Establishing good relationships with people like Sean and Joe and my colleagues on the ANC2C Commission will help me work efficiently on your behalf when the need arises.

My single member district meetings will have a variety of officals from various organizations that serve our community and help improve our quality of life. Come out, ask questions and get answers directly from the officials you might have trouble reaching at any other time.

Remember to log on the public forum to keep abreast of important news and information. There’s always something new on the site and I hope you will feel free to contribute interesting items that you would like to share with the rest of the community.
