Churches In Shaw East

One cannot pass through Shaw without recognizing the significant number of churches around us. These monuments to the groups of people who have lived here or came to our neighborhood for the particular purpose of worship have made our neighborhood a destination point since the 1870’s. This is still true today and it is important to recognize the contributions these institutions make to our community every day. From serving the homeless to educational seminars for adults, or events for seniors and children, churches play a vital role in our community.
